Microblading is a technique using a super-fine pen to deposit pigment into the skin. The tip is so fine (technically, a bundle of 12 to 15 needles) that it can create hair strokes that look real! The depth of the needles only goes into the superficial layers of the skin. This makes the method semi-permanent, versus permanent, like traditional cosmetic tattoos.
Microblading isn’t just reserved for thin, sparse or over plucked brows. Maybe you’re blessed with naturally full ones? Then microblading can enhance what’s already there. But the results are especially remarkable on those with thin brows or can be life changing for those who suffer from Alopecia or have lost their brows from other medical treatments.
After a needed touch-up one month after your treatment, microblading can last anywhere from 12 months to three years, depending on your lifestyle.
Here are a few ways to extend it!
Like any other tattoo, there may be some discomfort. However, our brow artist will numb the area first. Compared to other techniques, microblading gives a very natural look and better simulates hair. The results are worth it!
